Phineas is a genius boy who makes all kinds of inventions to help others. He is one of the main characters in Disney's animated series Phineas and Ferb. Here's a quick guide to drawing Phineas you might be able to use!

Method 1 of 3: Phineas in a standing position

1. Sketch the outline of the head with a triangle. Cartoons are usually created by drawing simple standard shapes. Especially if the cartoonist is going to draw the head.
2. Sketch the outline of the eyes.
3. Sketch the smiling mouth.
4. Sketch the outline of the hair.
5. Sketch the outline of the body.
6. Sketch the sleeves, arms and hands.
7. Sketch the legs and feet.
8. If you think the mouth looks a bit too happy, erase it and redo it. But it's still a cartoon, so feel free to overdo it. Practice the facial expressions a lot once you get used to drawing his face.
9. Start working out the head.
10. Start working out the ears.
11. Continue to work out the eyes. Just draw two overlapping ovals as eyes.
12. Draw ovals for the irises.
13. Start working out the hair.
14. Continue to work out the shirt.
15. Work out the sleeves further.
16. Work out the arms and hands.
17. Work out the shorts.
18. Work out the legs and feet further.
19. Erase the sketch lines and fill in the drawing with basic colors.
20. Draw the background.

Method 2 of 3: Phineas is excited

1. Sketch a triangle for the head.
2. Outline the eyes, mouth and hair.
3. Sketch the outline of the body.
4. Sketch the outline of the hands and feet.
5. Start working out the shape of the head.
6. Draw the mouth.
7. Work out the eyes and head.
8. Continue to work out the clothes.
9. Work out the rest of the drawing.
10. Erase the sketches.
11. Color the drawing.
12. Draw shadows and the background.

Method 3 of 3: Phineas in standard position

1. Start by sketching his head. Draw a rotated triangle like in the example. Sketch guides.
2. Draw 2 ovals for the eyeballs and 2 circles for the eyes. Don't forget the eyebrows. Sketch a smile and a small semi-circle for the ears. Outline the messy hair.
3. Draw his body / torso in the shape of a bottle (he's a bit lanky, so let's adjust that). Draw the thin arms and legs, hands and feet.
4. Sketch his shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
5. Work out the line drawing and erase the guidelines and sketch.
6. Color the drawing. Don't forget to draw the stripes on the shirt.
