1. Check this by removing your SIM card. Remove the SIM card and shut down the iPhone. If you have restarted the iPhone, it should say "No SIM card". Now tap on "Settings" again.
   • If you still see the options "Mobile data" and "Provider", the iPhone is simlock free.
