Dyeing your hair in a unique color is an excellent way to show yourself off. However, not everyone has the time or money to buy special hair dyes or go to a hairdresser. 1. Choose your color (s). If you have dark hair, it is best to choose a darker color. If you have very light hair, you have more options because almost all the colors will show in your hair.
   • If you want to try a really bright or eye-catching color or are unsure how a particular color will suit you, this dyeing method is perfect for you.
   • You don't have to keep the color in your hair for very long and it's okay if you don't like the result. After a few washes, the color will be out of your hair.
2. Wear gloves and an old shirt. Washable ink not only tones your hair, but also stains your hands and clothes. You can wash the ink off your hands, but your hands may have a strange color for several days if you are not wearing gloves. Put on an old T-shirt that can get dirty as you will definitely get ink on your clothes (unless you have a lot of experience).
3. View the result. If the color is brighter than you want, rinse your hair with cool water. It is important to use cold water as hot water can completely rinse the ink from your hair. If you don't find the color dark enough, you can repeat the process until your hair is the color you want.
   • The great thing about this hair dyeing technique is that you can adjust it exactly to the look you want to create. You can rinse your hair to lighten it easily, and you can dye your hair multiple times to darken it without damaging your hair. 4. Spray hairspray on the dyed hair. Style your colorful hair however you want. When you are done, spray hairspray on your hair. Your hairstyle will not only stay in place, but your colored hair will also be nice and smooth and the ink will remain in your hair. Have fun with your colored new hair!
