If you want to buy a tight shirt or a slim-fitting suit, you will need to know what your bust size is. All you need to determine this is a tape measure and a pencil to record your measurement. Wrap the tape measure around your body and measure the fullest part of your torso. Read on to learn more about measuring your bust size for both men and women.

1. Make a note of your measurement. Look in the mirror at which point the beginning of the tape measure and the remaining piece of the other end meet at the front of your chest. This number is the circumference of your chest.
   • Do not look at the tape measure to take your measurement as this may cause it to shift from place. Better to look in the mirror.
   • Add 5cm for clothing that you would like to have a little loose, such as a shirt. Always complete your measurement when you go to buy clothes.
