Despite the fact that the majority of skins in the store cost Riot Points, there are a few methods that allow a player to obtain a limited number of skins for free. Follow the steps below to learn how.

To step

Method 1 of 3: Use a like on the official League of Legends Facebook page

1. Create a Facebook profile if you don't have one yet.
2. Look for the official League of Legends Facebook page. You do this by searching under "League of Legends" in the Facebook search bar, after which you can select the page.
3. Click on "Free Riot Girl Tristana". This will take you to an app that allows you to release the Riot Girl Tristana skin on your League of Legends account.
   • If Tristana is not your champion, you will also receive Tristana together with the skin.
4. Select the region where your League of Legends account is registered in the app.
5. Like the official League of Legends Facebook page through the app. If you've already entered a like for the page, you will automatically be taken to the next step.
6. The code for the skin. You can share the fact that you got this skin with your friends through the various social media platforms.
7. Redeem the code. First, you will need to log into League of Legends using the client. Now open the store and select codes. You can now enter the code you received in the black box. If you click submit, the new skin (and the champion, if you don't have Tristana yet) will be added to your account.
   • Any skin code can only be used and will only work if you have selected the correct server region associated with your account. If you run into any issues, it is best to contact League of Legends customer support.

Method 2 of 3: Subscribe to the official League of Legends YouTube channel

1. Create a YouTube account if you don't already have one.
2. Open the official League of Legends website with your internet browser.
3. Adjust the server to match the server you are using for your League of Legends account and type "/ youtube"at the end of the url. This will take you to the app on the League of Legends website, which links your YouTube account to your League of Legends account.
4. Click on the "Login" button and enter your account details and the correct captcha code.
5. Click on "Subscribe" to create the link between League of Legends and your YouTube account.
6. Give League of Legends access to your YouTube account so you can sign up for the channel. If you already have a subscription to it, the procedure remains the same.
7. Have fun with your new Unchained Alistair skin. If you don't already have Alistair as a champion, you will get it along with the skin.

Method 3 of 3: Follow the official League of Legends Twitter account

1. Create a Twitter account if you don't already have one.
2. Open the app that will give you the free Champion Yarn skin and the Dreadknight Yarn skin. The app can be found here for EUW / EUNE accounts and here for other server regions.
3. Click on "Get Yarn and his Dreadknight skin" to open the Twitter app that will get you the code via the official League of Legends Twitter account.
4. Allow the Twitter app to continue and wait to get the skin code.
   • Remember that skin codes can only be used once and will only work if you have selected the correct link for your respective server region.
5. Redeem the code. You will first need to log in to League of Legends using the client. Then open the store and select codes. You can enter the code you received in the black box. Once you've clicked submit, the new skin (and champion, if you haven't obtained Yarn) will be added to your account.
