Method 1 of 3: Check your watchlist

1. Open TikTok. This is the app with a music note in it. You can usually find these on the home screen or in the app drawer (on an Android).
2. Tap the profile picture. This is the outline of a face at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Tap on Next. This shows a list of people you follow.
4. Search for the user you think has blocked you. If you were following that user and he blocked you, he will disappear from your list of people you follow.

Method 2 of 3: Check messages and responses

1. Open TikTok. This is the app with a music note in it. You can usually find these on the home screen or in the app drawer (on an Android).
2. Tap the notification icon. This is the square speech bubble at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap a comment or comment you posted to a video from that user. You can also tap tags you added to his posts. If you can't watch the video, chances are you have been blocked. Try to follow the person to make sure.

Method 3 of 3: Try to follow the person

1. Open TikTok. This is the app with a music note in it. You can usually find these on the home screen or in the app drawer (on an Android).
2. Open the discovery page. This is indicated with a globe or magnifying glass.
3. Enter the person's username and tap Search. A list of results will appear.
4. Tap the person's username. If you have been blocked, that user's account will not show a bio and video, and you will be prompted, "You cannot view this person's videos due to privacy settings." However, this doesn't necessarily mean you're banned - some accounts are banned for everyone except a few people.
5. Tap on To follow. If you can follow this person (or are able to submit a follow request) then you are not blocked. If you see a notification that says, "You cannot follow this account because of this user's privacy settings," you have probably been blocked by this user.
