If you want to play the full version of Minecraft on PC, you need a Mojang account to purchase it. Mojang is the company that developed Minecraft. Creating a Mojang account is free. Follow this guide to create your own account.

To step

1. Visit the Minecraft website. Click here to open the Minecraft site.
   
   
2. Click on "Register". You can find this link in the top right corner of your screen. If you click on this you will get to the screen where you can create your account.
   
   
3. Enter the required information. You need a valid email address. Enter a strong password. A strong password consists of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
   
   
   • Enter your name and date of birth. These are required to prevent fraud. If you are not yet 13 years old, please ask your parent / guardian to create an account for you.
   • Choose your security questions. These will be asked if you need to reset your password. Make sure to choose questions that you won't forget the answers to.
4. Click on "Register". Don't forget to tick the box next to: “I accept the Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Policy”.
   
   
5. Confirm Your Email Address. Once you have registered, you will receive an email. In this email you will find a link that you must click to activate your account. Once you have done this you can log in to Minecraft by entering your email address and password.
   • Check your Spam folder if the confirmation email does not appear in your inbox. It may take a few minutes for the mail to arrive.

Tips

• Try to include numbers, letters and symbols in your password. This is to prevent other people from hacking your account.
• Don't make your password too short.
• Make sure your password is something only you know. Do not tell anyone.
• Make sure you don't get banned from the servers. The most common causes are swearing, stealing, and harassing other people.

Warnings

• Mojang will only ask you for your password to log in to the website or the Minecraft client. NEVER give your username and password to anyone else. Not even if you receive an email from Mojang.
