This wikiHow teaches you how to change the displayed language of the Facebook interface.

Method 1 of 3: Desktop

1. Go to the Facebook website.
   • If you are not logged in automatically, enter your username and password and click Sign Up.
2. Click on the menu arrow. This is the arrow pointing down at the top right corner of your screen.
3. Click on Settings.
4. Click Language and Region. This is located in the menu panel on the left.
5. Click on Edit. This is located next to the menu option What language do you want to use Facebook in?.
6. Click Show Facebook in this language from the drop-down menu.
7. Select a language from the list.
8. Click Save Changes. The Facebook interface is now displayed in the selected language.

Method 2 of 3: Android app

1. Open the Facebook app. This is the app with a blue background and a white F.
2. Tap the Menu button. This is the icon with the three lines at the top right of your screen.
3. Tap Settings. This is located at the bottom of the menu.
4. Tap Language. A list of languages ​​appears.
   • The language currently in use has a highlighted circle next to it.
5. tap a language. The Facebook interface is now displayed in the selected language.

Method 3 of 3: iPhone / iPad app

1. Open Settings. This is the gray-wheeled app that is on your home page screen.
2. Tap on General.

Warnings

• It is not possible to change the language of Facebook app on iPhone / iPad without changing the language settings for the device in general.
