You are driving in a car and listening to your favorite radio, when suddenly some very catchy song sounds! So, you are doing everything possible to remember the name of the song, or at least the author, when you return home, you download this song for yourself. Hooray! Another good song on your playlist! But then you realize that you don't know the words at all.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Start with the chorus

1. 1 Keep in mind that you do not need to have the song with you when you learn the lyrics. Of course, this is pretty cool, but if you don't have such an opportunity, it's not a problem.
2. 2 Whenever you listen to the song, immediately close your eyes and try to memorize each word. Don't think about the meaning, just focus. If this is the first time you listen to it - don't worry, next time you will remember everything that you missed on this one!
3. 3 Try to memorize the chorus first, because it's much easier. Sing it to yourself whenever you are bored. If you want to learn the lyrics to sing a song with your friends, start learning as soon as you get the hang of the chorus! It's always great to share songs with friends and just hum when it's boring.
4. 4 Once you've learned the chorus, put the song on repeat. As soon as the song plays on the radio and your friends are already jumping around with happiness, don't worry. You can always sing the first few lines along with the rest. Plus, if you know the first few lines, many will immediately think you know the lyrics of the entire song.
5. 5 The chorus is probably the best way to convince your friends that you know the song well. If you can sing in chorus, they will think that you have heard this song many times before. Especially if you can sing something from the first or second verse. Try to learn it as well as the chorus. Pick a few key words and phrases, and then try to memorize the intermediate words. Listen to this song as often as possible!

Method 2 of 3: Record the lyrics!

6. 6 If you are lazy, you can continue to use this same strategy. The main thing is to listen as often as possible, already knowing the words at least approximately.
7. 7 After listening (about 3 times), read this song without music. Now try singing it (regardless of your skill).
8. 8 To memorize the lyrics even better, try recording the song yourself! (for very ambitious people).
9. 9 Now listen to the song again and try singing along without looking at the lyrics! You should be good now!

Method 3 of 3: Learning lyrics with song

1. 1Open your favorite search engine (Google.com yahoo.com)
2. 2 Write in the search (name of the group) - (name of the song) - text.
3. 3 Find a good site and check several sites to compare versions of the texts.
4. 4 Print out the lyrics and check that it matches the song.
5. 5 Learn the text to memorize each word.

Tips

• Songs are not remembered the first time - admit it! The main thing is to keep trying.
• You can read the lyrics and learn the song online if you think it will be easier this way. For many people, this is much easier than printing or writing.
• Make it sound perfect! Take yourself on the weak! Finally learn this song so you can sing it with a friend!
• Feel free to ask a friend for help. If you are confused about the words, have a friend correct you. It makes no difference whether it is a poem or a song text.

Warnings

• It's a little harder to remember the lyrics if it's rap. You will have to spend some more time memorizing.
• Don't think you've already learned the song if you can sing it once without mistakes! Maybe many will believe, but not all!
