Managing Your Yahoo! Account Settings helps you change your account login information and edit your profile. This article will guide you on how to manage your Yahoo! directly from your email inbox.

Part 1 of 2: Opening the Settings

1. 1 Launch your browser and go to www.yahoo.com.
2. 2 Log into your Yahoo!... To do this, click "Mail" (top right).
   • Enter your username and password.
   • Click "Sign in" to open your mailbox.
3. 3 On the top right, click on the gear-shaped icon. In the menu that opens, click "Settings".
4. 4 Click on "Accounts" in the left pane. The account settings are displayed in the right pane.

Part 2 of 2: Manage Account Settings

1. 1 The first section of the settings is "Yahoo account". This section displays your email address and the following links:
   • Change your password - click on this link to change your password.
   • "View your Yahoo profile" - Click on this link to view your Yahoo! profile.
   • "Edit your account info" - Click on this link to edit your account information.
2. 2 The second section of the settings is "Extra email address". Here you can add an additional email address simply by clicking on the "Create an extra email address" link.
3. 3 The third section of the settings is “Accounts”. Here you can configure sending and receiving letters from other mail services. To do this, click "Add". A window will open with three text lines ("Sending name", "Email address", "Description").
   • To enter information on a line, simply click on it.
   • Click “Save” to save your changes.
4. 4 The fourth section of the settings is "Default sending account". Here you can set the email address from which emails will be sent by default. To do this, open the menu and select the appropriate address (this only works if you have added an additional email address).
5. 5 Save your changes by clicking "Save".

Tips

• At the very bottom of the account settings window, information about the used and free space of the mailbox is displayed (Yahoo gives each user 1 TB of space).
