If you have glue or paint stains on your window glass, this article will show you how to get rid of them. The method is also suitable for removing traces left on the windshield of a car from stickers.
Steps
1 Dampen a paper towel with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.
2 Rub in a circular motion until the glue or paint softens.
3 Using a scraper (for example, used to remove stickers from the glass of a car), scrape off the adhesive from the glass. At the same time, direct the scraper at an angle to the glass and move it smoothly. 
4 If the glass is not completely clean, repeat the above steps.
5 After removing the glue, wipe the glass with a clean paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol.
6 You may not need to soften paint stains with alcohol, but after removing them, you must wipe the glass, as described in step 5.
Tips
- Test the scraper on any unnecessary glass before applying to make sure it won't scratch your window.
Warnings
- Try to use a scraper with a handle rather than a bare blade. A blade against an obstacle in the form of a stain of glue or paint on the glass can suddenly slip out of your hands and cut you.
