This article will show you how to remove data filters from a column or an entire sheet in Microsoft Excel.

Method 1 of 2: How to remove a filter from one column
1 Open the spreadsheet in Excel. To do this, double-click on the file with the table on your computer.
2 Open the sheet where you want to remove the data filter (s). The sheet tabs can be found at the bottom of the table.
3 Click the downward arrow icon in the column header. In some versions of Excel, a small funnel-shaped icon appears next to the arrow.
4 Click on Remove filter from column name>. The filter will be removed from the selected column.
Method 2 of 2: How to Remove Filters from a Whole Sheet
1 Open the spreadsheet in Excel. To do this, double-click on the file with the table on your computer.
2 Open the sheet where you want to remove the data filter (s). The sheet tabs can be found at the bottom of the table.
3 Go to the tab Data. You will find it at the top of the screen.
4 Click on Clear For more information, see the Sort & Filter section. You'll find it in the middle of the toolbar at the top of the screen. All filters on the sheet will be removed.
