Most of Graco's strollers, especially those made in the 21st century, can be folded down in one jerk. Others, especially older models, may take a little longer, but it won't be difficult if you know what to do.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Unfolding older models

1. 1 Install the brakes. Use your foot to push the lever near the rear wheels. When in the lowest position, the brakes lock the wheels.
2. 2 Block the front wheels. On some models of strollers, the front wheels may also have a locking mechanism to prevent them from spinning. First, move the stroller a few steps forward to place the wheels in a straight position. Then find the lever between the front wheels. If there is one, then the wheels may need to be raised or lowered to lock them, depending on the model.
3. 3 Fold down the hood. Gently pull the hood, if open, to return it to the folded position.
4. 4 Fold back the chair. Click on the chair and tilt it back as far as possible. On some models, it may be necessary to open the latches on the side of the seat before reclining the seat.
5. 5 Find the handle on the bottom of the stroller. Look to the left and right sides of the stroller and find a small handle at the base of the seat or wheels. Some models fold easily by pulling the handle in a specific direction, while others require you to press and hold a button in the center of the handle while folding the stroller.
6. 6 Fold up the stroller. Now you can fold the stroller just by squeezing the back and seat together. Grasp the bottom handle, if equipped. If necessary, pull on the lower frame near the wheels to begin folding, then remove your hands from there to avoid pinching your fingers in the folded frame. Finally, squeeze the top handle and seat base.

Method 2 of 2: Folding New Models

1. 1 Use this method for strollers that fold in "one hand" or "foldable" strollers. Graco makes many different models of strollers, but they tend to advertise their most easy-to-roll strollers, referring to "one-handed" folding or quick action strollers. If you know the model number of your stroller, you can find information on how to fold it on the internet. If you don't know the model number, you will know if this method works in a minute or two.
2. 2 Remove the stroller car seat without a built-in seat. Graco SnugRider boxes are made for use with car seats and do not have their own. Unfasten the car seat from the frame and remove it before attempting to fold the frame of the stroller.
3. 3 Roll up the hood. The hood, if equipped, should fold easily in the opposite position from the top handles if you pull the front end back.
4. 4 Pull the loop in the seat. Graco's one-handed pull-folding strollers fold up so the surface of the seat meets the outside of the folded stroller. These models usually have a strap under the seat that you can pull on to fold the stroller.
   • In strollers that fold outwards, the bottom cannot be blocked so that it does not fall out. Remove the bottom first to avoid dropping it to the ground, which could be scratched or dirty.
5. 5 Older strollers will have to work harder. If the stroller is rusted or dirty, it will be more difficult to fold. Pull it again, with a little more force, but don't try too hard, but rather lean on something to give yourself more strength. Tips

• If you are having trouble unfolding the stroller, look for the handles on the bottom of the stroller at the base of the seat or wheels. It may need to be pressed or pulled up or down in order to smoothly unfold the stroller.
