This article will show you how to download music from Google Play Music to your Android device. Keep in mind that you won't be able to download audio files from this service directly to your device, but you can download them into the app itself and then play them offline (only if you own the files or subscribe to Google Play Music streaming services).

Steps

1. 1 Launch the Google Play app. Click on the orange triangular icon with a white note.
2. 2 Tap ☰. You will find this icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
3. 3 Click on Music Library. The main page of your music library will open.
4. 4 Find the album or song you want. Click the Artist, Albums, or Songs tab to find the song or album you want.
5. 5 Tap the Download icon . If you can't find it, click "⋮" next to the song or album, and then select "Download" from the menu.
   • If this icon is not available, buy a song or subscribe to Google Play Music.
