A smartphone, iPod, PSP, or other electronic device is essentially a big investment, and one of the most vulnerable parts of it is the screen. Now it's clear why you want to protect it. This article provides basic instructions for preparing and applying a protective film, as well as some helpful tips.

Steps

1. 1 Use any method to generate steam in the room. Turn on hot water in the bathroom to fill it with steam.When the vapor settles, there will be much less dust in the air than usual. This is the best time to stick the protective film.
2. 2 First, wash your hands and dry them with a clean or disposable towel or air dryer. Wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth to remove grease and dust. Check the fabric before use to ensure it is clean. Get rid of the dust on your screen as best you can, especially if you've just taken your device out of its original packaging.
3. 3 Place a microfiber cloth over the screen to keep dust out.
4. 4 Prepare a protective film. Pull it carefully out of the box or packaging.
5. 5 Remove the cloth from the screen, slowly align the film and place it on the screen.
6. 6 Take a credit card or similar item as an equalizer. Use it to thoroughly remove any air bubbles.
7. 7 Ready.

Tips

• Keep the sticky side down before applying to prevent dust from sticking to it.
• Try to look at the screen at an angle to make sure there is no dust on it.
• Apply the protective film slowly and as carefully as possible. There is nothing worse than sticking with trembling hands.
• Do not touch the sticky part of the protective film. Hold it as if it were a CD (i.e. not touching the base).
• Alternatively, you can glue a piece of adhesive tape to the side of the backing tape (not the sticky side) to make it easier to place.
• It is best to stick the film immediately after opening the factory packaging.
• Dropping soapy water on the screen before applying the screen protector will make it easier to get rid of the bubbles. Just be careful not to pour too much.

Warnings

• Dust is everywhere and eventually it will appear on the screen.
• Dont be upset.
