Tips
- Yes, you can make the cream frosting by hand if you don't have an electric mixer. However, you will have to mix for a long time to achieve a creamy consistency. Add some milk in step 2 and it will be easier to mix the butter and icing sugar.
- If you have salted butter, you can use it, but you have to add a lot of sugar!
- For chocolate icing, add melted chilled chocolate. Change the consistency if desired.
- Mix everything well.
- Use sweet butter (not salty), otherwise your frosting will be salty.
- Do not use melted butter. (this will make the glaze runny).
Warnings
- Don't add too much sugar, it's bad for your health and shape. It can make your guests feel bad.
- Be careful when using the mixer.
