Cooking time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 3 bunches of spinach, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
  • 3-4 chopped green chiles
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried fenugreek leaves
  • 450 g paneer, diced
  • 2 large tomatoes (finely chopped)

Steps

  1. 1 Rinse the spinach. Since spinach grows in the ground, be sure to peel it completely.
  2. 2 Boil the spinach and chopped green chili for 10 minutes. Refrigerate and then grind into a paste. Fry the fenugreek on the tava for half a minute (be careful not to burn it). Refrigerate and then grind by rubbing between your palms.
  3. 3 Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the ginger until brown.
  4. 4 Add the chopped tomatoes and saute until covered with oil. Add the palak and fenugreek paste and sauté. Add garam masala powder, 2 tablespoons of cream, and diced paneer. Add salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. 5 Add 1 tablespoon butter (optional) before serving.
  6. 6 Serve hot with paratas or naan.
