How do I pressurize my driveway to keep it clean for longer? The trick is to use bleach before and after washing.
Steps
- 1 Prepare your driveway for the car wash by removing any excess from it.
- 2 Set up your pressure washer and check that the spray nozzle is installed on it.
- 3 Gently prepare a chemical solution (wear safety glasses and gloves) by mixing bleach and detergent in a container, using a few drops of detergent per 4 liters of bleach.
- 4 Spray the solution you received through the wash unit onto your driveway.
- 5 Wait 10 minutes or more for the chemicals to be absorbed.
- 6 Begin washing the surface using a special wash attachment attached to the washer, if you have one. If not, use a 15 or 25 degree conical nozzle.
- 7 Once you've finished your pressure washer, completely rinse any remaining dirt off your walkway.
- 8 Once the rinsing of the lane is over, reapply the bleach solution and let it soak for 10 minutes before rinsing, or you can simply leave it to dry.
- 9 Your driveway will now shine cleanly and will stay that way for much longer than a regular wash without bleach.
Warnings
- Be careful when handling bleach. Wear safety glasses and gloves.
