The toilet paper holder is held in place with small screws: these hold the decorative part of the holder to the wall frame, which is screwed to the wall. Routine use of the toilet paper holder while positioning and removing rolls of toilet paper can loosen the bolts that hold the holder, making it difficult to use the loose holder. In order to avoid more serious repair work in the future, it is necessary to fix the loosened holder without delay.

Method 1 of 2: Attaching a Loose Toilet Paper Holder

If you notice the looseness of the toilet paper holder attachment in the early stages, then you can fix it in a matter of minutes using ordinary tools.

1 Inspect the back of the loose pad. There should be a small hole behind it, into which a screw is screwed. This screw may or may not have a traditional head.
2 Remove the screw by grasping the edges with your index finger and thumb and very gently twisting it until it unscrews.
3 Take the screw to the tool magazine to find the correct size screwdriver and re-screw the screw. These screws may require a clock screwdriver or a small socket wrench. Each manufacturer uses a different type of screw.
4 Reinstall the screw into the hole in the base of the decorative holder or trim.
5 Insert a screwdriver or socket wrench into the screw and tighten properly so that the toilet paper holder sticks well to the wall.

Method 2 of 2: Attach a very loose toilet paper holder

If the loosened holder is not secured at the time of detection, the pressure of the structure can also loosen the screw screwed into the wall. This can result in a much larger hole in the wall than is needed for the screw.

1 Locate the screws underneath the trim or trim.
2 Remove the screws and set them aside.
3 Remove the holder's decorative strip from the bracket that is screwed to the wall.
4 Unscrew the bracket from the wall and leave all parts aside.
5 Insert the wall plug into the hole in the wall to which the bracket was attached. Make sure the dowel is large enough for the hole in the wall so that the screw is tightly screwed in.

8 Place the decorative strip back onto the bracket.
9 Tighten the small screws at the base of the trim or insert so that the whole structure feels very strong.

Tips

Take the screws with you to the tool shop to find the correct wall anchors for the screw size and wall type.
To prevent the situation from getting worse, we recommend keeping the small screwdriver close so that you can tighten the screw when it starts to loosen.

Warnings

Do not change the position of the toilet paper holder if you cannot secure the wall anchors correctly. The decorative part of the toilet paper holder may not be able to cover the old holes, leaving them visible.
