We all want beautiful, flawless skin, right? As we all know, this is not the easiest task in the world because we all age and we all have different skin types, some more stubborn than others. Rejuvenating your skin means tightening, revitalizing or rejuvenating it. We would all like to rejuvenate our skin, so here are some natural home remedies on how to give your skin new life.

Steps

  1. 1 Fill your skin with moisture! Drinking water is critical to maintaining your skin's elasticity and flexibility, so about 8 glasses a day should do the trick, just don't use soda or sugary drinks as an alternative to those 8 glasses.
  2. 2 You have to think and reflect on what type of cosmetics you choose in the store. Make sure the label says “OIL-FREE” and “Odorless”. Choose a type of makeup that doesn't need to be reapplied all the time.
  3. 3 Use a good skin moisturizer with added vitamins A, C, and E to help block the entry of environmental pollutants.
  4. 4 Go in for sports! This is not only good for your overall health, but for your skin too! Choose a program like aerobics because it can energize your skin and improve circulation and blood flow. In addition, sweat triggers the production of sebum, which is the skin's natural moisturizer.
  5. 5 Reduce stress. Stress impairs lipid barrier function (dry, dehydrated, dull skin), creates internal inflammation (premature skin aging, causes wrinkles), compromises immune function (dullness, lack of radiance and uneven skin color and texture), irritates the skin, or increases sensitivity ( redness, itching, urticaria). Long-term effects can lead to psoriasis, eczema, or rosacea. With all that said .. try to find ways to reduce stressful situations in your life, which can be a great way to rejuvenate your skin. Take time to simply relax, meditate, or take a long bath while listening to your favorite music. Reducing stress will definitely have amazing results for your body. So give it a try!

Tips

  • Natural moisturizer: Mix the juice of half a lemon in one cup with plain yogurt. Store this in the refrigerator and apply as a cream every night before bed. You can even apply a thin layer of moisturizer on top of this mixture if you feel like it, just wait about five minutes for the yogurt mixture to absorb. With continued use, you should see more even pigmentation and smoother skin in three to four weeks!

  • Natural Soothing Mask: Separate the egg whites from a pair of eggs and place them in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt (don't use flavored yogurt!). Mix them together and apply to your face. Leave it on your face for a few minutes, then rinse your face with warm water and then a warm washcloth.
  • Natural Exfoliating Mask: Mix 2 tsp. sugar in 3 tsp. warm water so that it melts.
    • Make sure the granules are dissolved, otherwise they may damage your skin. Apply to face. Massage gently over the skin. Rinse off with warm water OR I like to use a clean, warm dishcloth that I left in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Make sure the washcloth is not too hot.
  • Natural anti-aging mask:
    • 1 tablespoon oatmeal or finely chopped regular oatmeal
    • 1 tablespoon pink clay
    • 1 teaspoon honey
    • 1 teaspoon avocado or almond oil
    • 1 drop of frankincense oil
    • 1 drop of neroli or lavender oil
    • 1 drop of rose oil
    • For this anti-aging face mask, use water to make a paste. Apply the mask to your face for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Dry your face with a clean towel.

Warnings

  • Avoid Excessive Sun Exposure! This is one of the reasons for the appearance of wrinkles, age spots and skin discoloration!
