This article will show you how to insert a circled number (or "Framed Letters and Numbers") into a Microsoft Word document.
Steps
1 Start Microsoft Word. If you have Windows on your computer, open the Start menu, select Microsoft Office, and then Microsoft Word. If you have a Mac, you can find the Microsoft Word icon in the Dock or Launchbar.
2 Click on the Insert tab at the top of the window.
3 Click the Symbol button on the panel in the upper right part of the window.
4 Click on More Symbols….
5 Click on the Font drop-down menu at the top of the window.
6 Select Arial Unicode MS.
7 Click on the "Set" drop-down menu to the right of the "Font" menu.
8 Select Framed Letters & Numbers.
9 Select the desired framed number.
10 Click Insert. A circled number appears in the document.
