1 Wash your face and apply a moisturizer to your face.
  • 2 For beginners, it is better to use small sets of shadows, where harmonious combinations of shades are initially selected. With experience, you will learn how to choose colors yourself.
  • 3 Apply makeup base. This will help set your makeup in place all day. Our recommendation is based on Urban Decay.
  • 4 People with deep-set eyes often have circles under their eyes - cover them with a special corrector.
  • 5 Apply eyeshadow in the lightest shade from lash line to brow. Do not go over the tip of the eyebrow so that the makeup is not too provocative.
  • 6 Blend the shadows on the inner corner of the eye, moving to the lower eyelid (just don't get in your eye!).
  • 7 Stand directly in front of the mirror. Apply the second color from the middle of the eye to the outer corner, but do not go beyond the eyebrow and the fold of the eyelid. Blend it following the natural eye shadow.
  • 8 Apply the darkest shade to the outer corner of the eye with a pointed brush. Blend the color slightly up and towards the lash lines on the lower and upper eyelids. The dark color should not extend into the upper eyelid beyond the edge of the iris.
  • 9 Apply eyeliner. Start where you started to apply the second shade of shadow (just above the pupil in the middle of the eye).
  • 10 Fix the makeup by applying a small amount of light powder to the eyelid using a wide brush. Powder from NYC works great for this.
  • 11 Use a special brush to correct the shape of the eyebrows and get rid of excess powder on them (especially if you have dark eyebrows).
  • 12 Curl your eyelashes with a tweezer. Apply mascara from the outer corner of the eyes to the inner corner.
  • 13 Step back a little from the mirror and appreciate your work. Remember that people will not look at you as closely as you look at yourself in the mirror.
  • 14 Be sure to wash off your makeup before going to bed. This can be done with a special product or oil. Makeup should be rinsed off to prevent clogging of skin pores.
  • 15 Ready!
  • Tips

    • It is best not to use eyeliner in the form of a pencil, especially on the lower eyelid (there is more delicate skin). They tend to stretch the skin. Use liquid eyeliner or, as a last resort, a soft pencil like Mary Kay.
    • Do not apply dark eye shadow in the crease of the eyelid - it will make the eyes visually deeper.
    • Do not completely line your eyes with eyeliner and do not use dark makeup on the inside of your eyes. This will visually reduce them and make you look like a raccoon.
    • If you want to apply some dark eyeshadow to the crease of the eyelid, blend it well up towards the brows.

    Warnings

    • Never use someone else's makeup or share yours - you can get an infection.
    • Never apply eyeliner to the inside of your eyelid - this can also lead to infection.
    • Wash off makeup in time and put on a new one, do not go with the same eyelids. Again, infection.
