Have you ever been in the role of a mother for someone's cubs for a while? Fortunately, they are not as difficult to care for as children. Rather, proceed to the first step to raise healthy and well-fed goats from small capricious kids.

Steps

1. 1 Prepare milk. It could even be cow's milk, although of course cow's milk is not the best option as it contains heavy fat molecules that are harder and slower to digest than goat's milk.
2. 2 You will need two empty half-liter bottles to be filled with milk. This must be done carefully by placing a funnel on the neck of the bottle.
3. 3 Pour milk carefully through the funnel.
4. 4 Now attach a nipple to the neck of each bottle.
5. 5 Offer each kid a bottle, position the bottle at the level of the mother's nipples. Most likely, the baby will take short pauses during feeding (about 20 seconds).This is due to the fact that no air enters the bottle while the contents continue to be sucked out. You can buy a pacifier with a small protrusion on one side. You need to cover this ledge with your finger and press on the opposite side of the bottle (closer to the thread). If done correctly, you will see a number of small air bubbles begin to grow in the bottle. Thus, the kid does not have to constantly pause during feeding. You can give the kids the same amount of milk (each 1-2 bottles a day) until they grow up.
6. 6 After feeding, wipe the kids' muzzles. If this is not done, the kids can begin to lick each other's faces, licking off the remnants of already, possibly, spoiled milk.
7. 7 Make sure the kids go to a dry, warm place after feeding, to rest there and calmly digest food.
8. 8 After feeding, wash the bottles with soap and water to keep them clean the next time.

Tips

• During pasteurization of goat milk, the AEC virus (goat arthritis-encephalitis) dies, so the kids can safely drink this pasteurized milk without risking an infection.
• It is not a good idea to try to sit the kid on your lap while feeding. Perhaps this way you will feel calmer, but, believe me, this position is not very comfortable for the kids. You should not do so that feeding the kids is associated with the society of people.
• If you have a lot of kids, think about making a special feeder, it can be made from straws and a bucket in which there will be milk.
• Feed the kids 2-3 rads a day at regular intervals. Newborn kids should be fed every 4-6 hours for the first few days of life.
• On farms where goats are bred in large numbers, at birth they are usually tried to be immediately separated from their mothers and transferred to artificial feeding. This is necessary because goat milk can contain a virus that causes arthritis in animals.

Warnings

• Some commercial companies, such as Purina Kid milk replacer, contain special ingredients to help avoid overeating. Overfeeding an animal with such products can cause diarrhea.
