If you've already tried to attach a file larger than 25 MB to Yahoo! Mail, you know that this is not possible, since there is a limit on the size of attached files. Fortunately, Yahoo! Mail has integrated with Dropbox, and now you can send attachments with huge file sizes. You can now also save email attachments directly to Dropbox. Make sure you have successfully linked your Yahoo! Mail account to your Dropbox account for easier and simpler merging. Proceed to step 1 below to get started.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Attaching Files from Dropbox

1. 1 Upload the file to Dropbox. You can either upload the file directly to your online Dropbox account or drop the file into your local Dropbox folder for online syncing.
2. 2 Sign in to your Yahoo!Mail account.
3. 3 Write a new email message. Any length, any number of people. If you want to experiment with attaching files, just send it to yourself.
4. 4 Attach a file from Dropbox. In a separate e-mail window, click on the Clip icon (paper clips) to be able to attach. Choose Share with Dropbox. A dialog box will appear that contains your Dropbox folders. Navigate through the folders and find the file you want to attach.
   • You can attach multiple files at the same time by selecting them. The files will be highlighted or marked as selected.
   • You can attach files of several formats as well. Songs, PDFs, Movies, etc.
5. 5 Click the button Choose.
6. 6 Finish the process of creating your email. The file you choose will be distributed via the Dropbox link embedded inside your email message. It does not have to be physically linked, but the file can be accessed directly from the specified link.
7. 7 Send a message. You can Send a Cc to see the email and see how the link works.

Method 2 of 2: Saving the Attached File to Dropbox

1. 1 Sign in to your Yahoo!Mail account.
2. 2 Open the email with the attachment. Any attachment size (within reason) should be fine.
3. 3 Find the attachment. The attachment is located at the bottom of the email message. You should see a paperclip next to the file name.
4. 4 Download the attachment. Click the link Download next to the attached file. Please select Save to Dropbox... A dialog box will appear that indicates the location where the file will be stored in your Dropbox folders. Select a location and press the button Save.
5. 5 View the attachment from Dropbox. You can download the file from your online Dropbox account or from your local Dropbox folder after it has been synced.

Tips

• The first time you use Dropbox in Yahoo Mail, you'll see a window asking permission to link your accounts. Once you link them together, you don't even need to go through the login procedure.
