Knee-high boots can be difficult to store in a way that keeps them in shape. Handle it easily along with these nifty tricks.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Rolled Up Magazine

1. 1 Zip up your boots and get ready for storage.
2. 2 Roll up an unnecessary magazine and insert into one boot. (You will need to hold the boot while you insert it.) The magazine will immediately unfold and fill in the boot shape.
3. 3 Roll up the second unnecessary magazine and insert it into the other boot. It will also unfold.
4. 4 Place your boots in a standing position in the shoe storage area. The magazines ensure that the boots stay upright and keep in good shape.
5. 5 Repeat after each wear.

Method 2 of 4: Noodles

1. 1 Buy some pool noodles. Wait until they are the right size to get the best bang for your buck at the end of summer or during the summer cleaning of your pool.
2. 2 Measure the noodles according to the height of your boot.
3. 3 Cut the noodles at this height.
4. 4 Button up your boots to the very top if necessary.
5. 5 Tuck the noodles into the inside of the boots. Repeat these steps for each boot you want to send in storage.

Method 3 of 4: Plastic bottles

1. 1 Use soda bottles or other thin bottles. The bottles should be thin enough to slip into the boot.
2. 2 Drink soda, juice, or milk. Empty the bottles and empty them. Let them dry completely.
3. 3 Fill them with a little sand, pebbles, or water. This will give the bottle a light weight.For sustainability, you don't need to fill more than half of the bottles; even a quarter is usually sufficient.

Method 4 of 4: Old calendars

3. 3 Fold the calendar down to the size of your bootleg. The thickness created by many different pages will create a nice, strong fold.
4. 4 Tuck it into the inside of each boot for storage. Store.

Tips

• The empty wine bottle in each boot can also support the curves for some boot sizes. Make sure it's clean first.
• An empty paper towel tube can also be used; tape two or three tubes (measure the size of your boots by first inserting the tube into your boots) and then cover with a cloth or wire.
• Always give your boots time to dry before putting them away. Do not dry with heat as this will cause them to crack. Remove salt, etc. before storing. with boots.
• You can also buy shelves just for tall boots to put in your closet, but this will be more expensive.
