There are several requirements that must be fulfilled to upgrade Sneasel in Weewayla. First you need to get the Razor Claw, which, depending on the game, can be found in various locations, and which is only found in games of the fourth generation and older. Then you will have to pump Sneasel at night. Night time also depends on the generation of the game.

Steps

Part 1 of 2: The Evolution of Sneasel

1. 1 Bring your Sneasel to a Generation 4 or older game. The snail was introduced in the second generation of games, but its evolution, Vivail, does not exist until the fourth generation games. This means that you can only upgrade Sneasel in a game of the fourth generation or older.
   • You cannot transfer Generation 2 Pokémon to older generation games.
   • In order to transfer a Pokémon from the third generation to the fourth, you will first have to go through the fourth generation game, and then transfer the Pokémon from the third generation to it through Pal Park.
2. 2 Find the Razor Claw. This item is required for the evolution of Sneasel. You can only find the Razor Claw in games of the fourth generation and older.

3. 3 Put the Razor Claw on Sneesla. Sneasel must hold this item in order to evolve into Weyvail.
4. 4 Evolve Sneasel at night. To evolve, Sneazle must level up at night. It doesn't matter what level Sneazle is, the main thing is that the increase occurs at night, and at the same time he holds the Razor Claw.

   • You can level up Sneesl in battles or with Rare Candy.
   • If you change the time on your console, then within 24 hours you will not be able to complete any evolution that depends on time.

Part 2 of 2: Finding the Razor Claw

1. 1 Find the Razor Claw in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum games. Since this is the first generation of games in which Weave appeared, Razor Claw is most often found in these games. There are several places where you can find the Razor Claw:
   • Route 224. Sail from the south beach, which is in the center of the location, and head south. Swim along the rocks and you will stumble upon a small piece of land. You will find the Razor Claw here.
   • Road of the winners. You can find Razor Claw in a large cave south of the Pokémon League. In order to get to the cave, you need the Rock Climb ability.
   • Battle tower. To get the Razor Claw, you need to get 48 points in the Battle Tower / Battle Line. You will not be able to enter the Battle Tower / Battle Line until you enter the Hall of Fame.
   • Team Galaxy Headquarters (Platinum only). Enter Team Galaxy Headquarters and go to the table. Enter the room on the right and stand on the second "column" of the floor. Turn down and search the floor. The Razor Claw will be hidden on the floor.
2. 2 Find the Razor Claw in Black and White. There are a couple of places where you can find the Razor Claw in these two games:
   • Route 13. Find the Treasure Hunter near the hut where the old man teaches the Strongest Movements. Once a day, the Treasure Hunter gives out a random item. The Razor Claw is one of the items he can give.
   • Subway battles. You will receive a Razor Claw for 48 points. The Battle Subway will become available in Nimbas after you complete the main storyline of the game.
3. 3 Find one of the many Razor Claws in Black 2 and White 2. In these sequels, there are even more places to find the Razor Claw.
   • A giant abyss. You will find Razor Claw in the Giant Chasm, in an area called Crater Forest. It is located right next to the exit from the cave.
   • Subway battles. As in Black and White, the Razor Claw can be obtained in the Battle Subway. To do this, you need to earn only 8 points.
   • World Pokemon Tournament. This establishment can be found south of the city of Driftvale. This is the place where the best trainers come together and fight for glory and points. You must earn 8 points to get the Razor Claw. This means that you have to win eight low-level tournaments.
4. 4 Find one of the two Razor Claws in the X and Y games. There are two ways to get a Razor Claw in these games:
   • House of battles. The battle house is similar to the Tower or Battle Meter from the previous games. He can be found in Keeloud City after completing the game. You will need to earn 48 points to get the Razor Claw
   • PokeMileage Club. You will need to play the game "Balloon Popping" (Level 3). The Razor Claw is one of the prizes for winning the third level.
5. 5 Find the Razor Claw in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. In recent Pokemon games, there are a couple of places where you can find Razor Claw:
   • Battles resort. The Battles Resort will become available after completing the game and completing the Episode Delta mission. You will receive a S.S ticket, thanks to which you can board the S.S. Tidal. This liner will take you to the Battle Resort. Here you will find the Battle House, where you can get the Razor Claw for 48 points.
   • Mirage forest. The Razor Claw can also be found in one of the Mirage Woods. The forest appears once a day, but a mirage island, cave or mountain can appear instead. You will need Latias or Latios with the Soar ability. The only Mirage Forest that has a Razor Claw spawns north of Route 111. The Razor Claw will be accidentally hidden in the tall grass to the northwest.

Tips

• Depending on the version of the game, you can catch Sneasel in different locations. In the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum games, he is found on Routes 216 and 217, Lake of Sharpness, the Temple of Snowpoint, and the Lake of Sharpness coastal strip. In the HeartGold and SoulSilver versions, Snazle can be caught on Silver Mountain. In the games "Black and White" and "Black 2 and White 2" you will find Sneasel in the Giant Abyss. In versions "X" and "Y", this Pokemon is on route 17.
