In this article, we'll walk you through how to create a Facebook event poll. But first, you need to create an event - you can do this on your personal page or on any other page of which you are the administrator. Follow these steps to create an event, and then publish your survey to the event.

Steps

1. 1 Go to the page https://www.facebook.com in a web browser. This can be done in any browser.
   • If you are not logged in yet, enter your email address and password.
2. 2 Click on Events. You will find this option in the left pane under the "Highlights" section.
3. 3 Click on the name of the event. If you haven't created an event yet, click the blue ＋ Create Event button in the left pane. Read this article to learn how to create Facebook events.
4. 4 Click on Create poll. You will find this option above the "Write something" field on the event page.
5. 5 Enter your survey question. Do this in the "Ask a question" field.
6. 6 Click on + Add option and enter your answer option. Enter the first answer in the text box.
7. 7 Click on + Add option under the first option to add the second option. Enter your second answer in the text box. Repeat this process for all possible answers to the question.
8. 8 Click on Answer options ▾ and select or deselect one of two or both options. This menu is in the lower-left corner of the survey creation window. To select an option, check the box next to it, and to deselect it, uncheck it:
   • Allow Everyone to Add Choices - This allows users to add their own answer choices (in addition to the ones you entered).
   • “Allow people to choose multiple options” - This allows users to select multiple answers.
9. 9 Click on Publish. You will find this blue button in the lower right corner of the window.The poll will be published on the event page, that is, users will be able to answer it.
