eBay Bucks are awarded to users who purchase eBay products that qualify for the eBay Bucks Rewards Program. To earn the eBay Bucks you must register for the eBay Bucks program and purchase the appropriate products, paying with your PayPal account. eBay then rewards you with eBay Bucks that you can use to make other purchases.

To step

1. Check your eligibility for the program. The eBay Bucks Rewards Program is only available for accounts linked to a US address. The account must be in good standing (no suspensions etc.) and must be linked to a valid PayPal account that is also in good standing.
   • You must be at least 18 years old (the same age as the standard user).
   • In England you can register for Nectar. This allows you to earn Nectar points for your purchases on eBay, which you can then use to buy other eBay products.
2. Register for the program. Registering for eBay Bucks is free if you meet the above requirements. The registration page is a bit tricky to find, so go to this site to register.
   • Registration is simple. Click on the Sign up button on the registration page. You must be logged in with your eBay account to register.
3. Find products that qualify for the program. Once you are registered it will appear Bucks icon below the price when a product is eligible. You can also see how many eBay Bucks you earn when you buy a product (2% of the purchase price). You can earn up to $ 100 in eBay Bucks per transaction. The following products are NOT eligible for eBay Bucks:
   • eBay Motorcycles, including Parts & Accessories
   • eBay Classifieds
   • Coins
   • Property
   • eBay Gift Cards
   • Business & Industry
4. Pay with your PayPal account. To earn Bucks you have to pay with PayPal. You do not earn Bucks with other payment methods.
5. Earn a minimum of $ 5 per quarter in eBay Bucks. eBay Bucks are accumulated quarterly and you must earn at least $ 5 to receive the Bucks. eBay adheres to the following data:
   • January 1 - March 31
   • April 1 - June 30
   • July 1 - September 30
   • October 1 - December 31
6. Wait until you receive the Bucks Certificate. After each earning period, eBay sends a certificate to your account stating how many Bucks you have earned. It can take up to 15 days after the end of the period for the Bucks to be credited.
   • In My eBay you can check how many Bucks you have earned by clicking on the menu on the left eBay Bucks to click.
   • You will receive an email when your Bucks Certificate is available and the bucks have been credited.
7. Spend your Bucks within 30 days of receipt. Once you receive your Bucks, you have 30 days to spend them. After these 30 days, the Bucks will expire. So you cannot keep Bucks until the next period and you cannot earn new Bucks by spending your Bucks.
8. Pay with PayPal to spend your Bucks. When you want to buy a product, you have to pay with PayPal in order to spend your Bucks. In the Product Total box you can then click that you want to spend Bucks.
   • If you can't find the box where you can spend Bucks, you can use the code on the certificate of the eBay Bucks is also in the box where you can enter gift certificates.

Tips

• Log into your “My eBay” account regularly to see when eBay offers bonus Bucks and has promotions. For example, sometimes you can earn double bucks. Click on the eBay Bucks link in My eBay to keep an eye out for special offers.

Warnings

• eBay Bucks expire within 30 days of receipt.
