To delete a Facebook page, you must be its administrator. Deleting a page is different from deleting a Facebook account. See the following instructions on how to delete Facebook pages.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Use the Facebook app

1. 

   Open Facebook. It's an app that has a white "f" symbol on a blue background. If signed in, this takes you to your News Feed.
   • If you aren't logged into Facebook, type in your email address (or phone number) and password and select Log In (Log in).

   Choose ☰ in the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or in the top-right corner of the screen (Android).

   Touch the name of the page. You'll find the site name near the top of the menu, just below your name.
   • If you don't see the page name, scroll down and select Pages (Page) is near the bottom of the menu. You may have to choose first See All (See all).

   Touch the button’... "in the top right corner of the screen.

   Choose Edit Settings (Edit settings) is near the top of the pop-up menu.

   Choose General (General Settings) is above the "Settings" page.

   Scroll down and select "Delete". Choose to delete your page below the settings page with the text "Delete".

   Choose Delete Page (Delete the page). It's a blue button near the top of the "Remove Page" section. After clicking that option, you have 14 days to change your mind; as soon as the time expires, you will receive one more request to confirm the site deletion. advertisement

Method 2 of 2: Access Facebook from a computer

1. 

   Open Facebook website. If you're logged into your Facebook account, you'll see your News Feed page.
   • If you aren't logged in, enter your email address (or phone number) in the box at the top right corner of the screen and click Log In (Log in).

   Click on your site's name. You'll find the page name in the top-right corner of the bulletin board page, just below the "Your Pages" heading below your name.

   Click Settings (Settings) in the top-right corner of the page.

4. 

   Scroll down and select Remove Page (Page removal). This option is at the bottom of the screen; after clicking, the selection will be enlarged and show the path to delete the page.

   Click the page deletion link that says "Delete" below the current page.

   Choose Delete Page (Delete the page). It's a blue button in the pop-up window. This will schedule page deletion and search engine hiding. After 14 days, you will receive a request to confirm the site deletion, and the page will be permanently deleted. advertisement

Advice

• If you want to hide the page without permanently deleting it, you can choose to unsubscribe from the Facebook page so that the page is temporarily not visible.

Warning

• Once the Facebook page has been permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.
