Steps

Method 1 of 1: Close an account

1. 

   Visit the website https://www.paypal.com by browser. Enter https://www.paypal.com in the address bar and press the key ⏎ Return. Then click your mouse on the button Log in (Login) in the upper right corner of the window.
   • You cannot deactivate your account from the Paypal mobile app.

   Log in to PayPal. Enter the email associated with your account and password in the labeled fields and click Log In.
   • Before closing your account, make sure to re-check your account and transfer the remaining funds to your bank account.
   • If there are any unresolved issues, like disputes, or pending transactions, you won't be able to close your account until the issue is resolved.

   Click the ⚙️ icon in the upper-right corner of the window.

   Click the button ACCOUNT (Accounts) is near the top of the window.

   Scroll down and click Close (Closed). It's next to the line "Close your account" in the "Account options" section.

   Follow the request on the screen.

   Choose the reason you closed the account and click the button tiếp tục (Continue).

   Then click Close Account (Close account). This will close your PayPal account.
   • Once your PayPal account is closed, you cannot reopen it.
