Want to delete iPhone apps but don't know how to do it? This article is going to get you going as quickly as compared to using Snapchat.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Standard method

1. 

   Find the app you want to remove. You don't need to open apps, just locate them.

   Press and hold an application icon. After a few seconds, all iPhone apps start to vibrate and show up a small "X" icon next to (except for built-in apps).
   • If you don't see the X symbol, you can apply the alternate method below.

   Click '' to delete the application. iPhone will ask if you want to delete the selected app.
   • Select "Delete" if you really want to delete the application and all the data.

   Press the button to return to the home page. When you finish deleting the app, simply press the circle button under the touch screen ("home screen") to return to the regular screen. X will disappear and the symbols will stop oscillating.

   Delete apps in iTunes. Otherwise, the program will be backed up the next time you sync the device. Alternatively, you can install iTunes to not sync apps from the external device.

Method 2 of 2: Alternative methods

   Click the install button on the home screen. Then select "General" after accessing.

   Select "Restrictions". If asked, you'll need to enter a 4-digit PIN. If you don't know 4 digit PIN, you can guess. Thanks to someone who might have installed it for you.
   • If you can't define a 4-digit PIN, you can't make any changes.

   Scroll down to enable the "Disable Restrictions" function. Look for the section titled Deleting Apps. Slide the button on the side of the word OFF to ON.

   Go back to the standard method. Now the device has the function to delete apps installed. Press and hold an app icon to delete and an X will appear in the upper left corner. Click on the X and follow the deletion request.
   • Accordingly, the same screen will have a button "Installing Apps". You can enable this function if you are a parent and want to see what your children are doing with the device.

Advice

• If the app does not appear a delete button, this is a "permanent" application built into the iPhone and does not allow deletion. However, there are a number of exceptions that are folders and Cydia "jailbreak" applications.
• Deleting the application also means deleting all data stored in it.
• If you delete an app by clicking the delete button on your iPhone, you can reload it by clicking the "download from cloud" button instead of the get / buy button.
