This is an article that shows you how to view blocked content or websites on a computer with limit settings and on mobile devices using a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Use a VPN

1. 

   , click Settings

   

   , choose Network & Internet (Network & Internet), select the card VPN, and click Add a VPN connection (Add VPN connection) at the top of the page.

   , click System Preferences ... (System Preferences), select Network (Network), click ＋ In the lower left corner, select the "Interface" selection box and click VPN.
3. On Iphone - Open

   

   Settings, find and select General (General), then select VPN and touch Add VPN Configuration ... (Add VPN configuration…).
4. On Android - Open Settings, choose More (More) under "Wireless & networks", select VPN and choose ＋ or ADD VPN (Add VPN).

6. On Android - Swipe screen down from above, touch and hold the icon WIFI

   

   
   
   then deselect or push the "Wi-Fi" slider to the off position.

   Settings (Settings), select Personal Hotspot (Personal Hotspot) and touch the white "Personal Hotspot" slider

8. On Android - Swipe the screen down from the top, select the icon Settings

   

   
   
   , choose More (More) below the "Wireless & networks" heading, select Tethering & portable hotspot (Tethering & mobile tethering), then mark or push the "USB tethering" slider to the on position.

   (on Mac) and select the name of the phone.
   • Unlike wireless network sharing, you do not need to enter the network sharing password (displayed in the network sharing menu) to connect to your phone.

10. 

    Unlimited web browsing. Since you already have a mobile data connection and don't have the Internet in your current location, you can go beyond the limit this way.
    • Note that sharing the network consumes large amounts of mobile data, which means you will have to spend a lot of money downloading files, watching videos or browsing the web for too long.

Advice

• Some computers have systems that block file downloads. If your computer is set up to block certain file types, using a proxy will not allow you to download the desired file.
• If you can install the program on the computer that you want to bypass firewalls or Internet restrictions, install TeamViewer on your current computer and your home computer so you can access your home computer remotely. While working on your computer can be slow, this method will allow you to use your home computer's Wi-Fi and browser at home.
• Entering "https" instead of "http" at the beginning of the website address (such as "https://www.URLHERE.com") is sufficient to access some blocked websites. Note that not all websites support secure connections, and some filters can filter for secure pages.

Warning

• Schools often have the initiative to control content on the computer. In this case, exceeding the limits is ineffective when the computer administrator turns off access to your computer.
• In some countries (like the UK and Singapore), circumventing firewalls and Internet restrictions is illegal and punishable by imprisonment.
• Many schools and other organizations store all information on the network. The technical staff at these locations can monitor your network access, which means your computer activity will be logged.
