Peeling an apple is a fairly easy and quick process. Be sure to use a very sharp knife to make the process as efficient as possible.
Steps
1 Take the apple in your left hand, letting the fruit just touch your palm, and press on the surface with your fingers.
2 Take the knife in your right hand, hold the fruit with your thumb, the first two fingers should be on the top of the blunt side of the blade, and the last two fingers should be on the handle of the knife.
3 Pierce the apple skin with a knife.
4 Using your left thumb, cut the rind in a spiral motion.
5 Continue to flip the apple down the spiral until you reach the bottom of the apple.
6 Ready.
Tips
- Sharpen the knife before peeling the apple for a smoother cut.
