In this article, we will show you how to change the amount of time that an Android smartphone will ring before switching to voicemail. If you have a Samsung phone, read this article.
Steps
1 Launch the Phone app. Tap the handset-shaped icon at the bottom of the home screen.
2 Tap ⁝. This icon is in the upper right corner. In some versions of Android, this icon may look like this: ⋯ or ☰.
3 Click on Settings.
4 Scroll down the page and click Call forwarding. Depending on your Android model, you may have to tap on the name of your mobile operator first.
5 Click on Forward if no response. The name of this option may be slightly different.
6 Choose a time span from the Delay menu. In this menu, you can select an option from "5" to "30" seconds (in 5 second increments).
7 Tap Turn on. Now, if there is no answer when incoming calls are received, the smartphone will ring for the specified period of time, and then switch to voicemail.
