This wikiHow teaches you how to sync or download photos from your computer to your iPad using iTunes for Windows.

Method 1 of 2: By iTunes

1.

Method 2 of 2: Using iCloud for Windows

   Setup iCloud for Windows. Here's how to do it:
   • Download the iCloud for Windows setup program at the Apple support site.
   • Double-click iCloudSetup.exe.
   • Read through the terms and choose I accept the terms (I accept the term).
   • Follow the instructions on the screen to install.
   • If the application error is not installed appears, you need to uninstall all Apple software (including iTunes) and try again. If the app still fails to install, check out the Apple support page to learn more about how to fix this known issue.

   Open iCloud for Windows. The app will be on the Start menu (or possibly in a folder All Apps).

   Sign in with your Apple ID. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID on your iPad.

   Check the box "Photos". If you want to synchronize other types of data, you can choose to add corresponding items.

   Click Options (Optional) next to "Photos". A list of folders will appear.

   Choose iCloud Photo Library (ICloud Photo Library). This option is at the top of the window.

   Click Done. You will be back to the iCloud window.

   Click Apply (Apply). Your changes will be saved, and all the data you selected will be synced to iCloud.

   Add photos to the "Uploads" folder of iCloud Photos. As long as the iCloud for Windows app is still running, the photos saved to the “Uploads” folder will automatically sync to iCloud. Here's how to add photos to the folder:
   • Press ⊞ Win+E to open File Explorer.
   • Open the folder containing the photos you want to sync to your iPad.
   • Select those pictures, then tap Ctrl+C to copy.
   • Click on folder iCloud Photos in the left pane (usually below "Favorites" or "Quick Access").
   • Right click on the folder Uploads in the right frame
   • Click Paste (Paste).

    View synced photos on iPad. The photos uploaded to iCloud appear in the app Photos on iPad. advertisement
