Here is an article that teaches you how to create a heart icon on Facebook in many ways. You can submit a heart icon by "drop heart" for a post or comment, enter an existing heart icon into the text and choose a heart background for new posts.

Method 1 of 3: "Drop heart" for posts or comments

1. 

   Open Facebook on your computer, phone or tablet. You can access Facebook from your web browser at https://www.facebook.com or use the mobile app.

   Find the post or comment you want to "drop your heart". You can express your feelings with the heart icon and "drop heart" for any post or comment.
   • The "heart drop" will increase the number of hearts below posts or comments.

   Move the mouse pointer to the button Like (Like) below post or comment. As you move the mouse cursor over there, your emotion selection will show.
   • If you are using the mobile app on your phone or tablet, press and hold the button Like.

   Click the heart icon displayed. This is a "heart drop" operation with a heart icon displayed below the selected post or comment. advertisement

Method 2 of 3: Enter the heart symbol

1. 

   Open Facebook on your computer, phone or tablet. You can access Facebook from your web browser at https://www.facebook.com or use the mobile app.

   Click or tap the text input field that you want to edit. You can create a new post from the box above the News Feed section, or click on any text input field, such as the comment box.

   Type <3 into the text input field. This creates a familiar red heart symbol when you post text.

   Click or tap the smileys to open the library of emoticons available.
   • If you use the browser computerClick the smiley icon in the lower right corner of the text box.
   • If using the app mobile, tap the smiley icon in the bottom corner of the keyboard.

   Find and select the heart symbol you want to import. This will show the selected heart in your post.
   • You can also copy and paste one of the following hearts:
   • Beating Heart: 💓
   • Broken Heart: 💔

Method 3 of 3: Choose a background image for your posts

1. 

   Open Facebook on your computer, phone or tablet. You can access Facebook from your web browser at https://www.facebook.com or use the mobile app.

   Click or tap the field What's on your mind? (What are you thinking?) at the top of the page. This is the box displayed at the top of the News Feed section for you to create new posts here.

3.
