Minecraft is a wonderful game to play with some friends. If you're playing through the Xbox 360, there are a few options for doing this.

Method 1 of 2: Xbox Live (360)

1. When creating a world, make sure to select "Online Game".
2. Start the game, then press the center button on your controller to bring up the dashboard.
3. Invite a friend (you must know his / her gamertag) to play in your Minecraft world.

Method 2 of 2: Play local multiplayer

1. If you have a High Definition TV, an HDTV cable and 2 controllers, you can play multiplayer via a split screen.
2. Connect your Xbox to the TV with the HDTV cable.
   • If there is a switch for it, set it to "HD".
3. Set the video output of your Xbox 360 to 720 (via Video settings).
4. Turn on both controllers.
5. Start Minecraft.
6. Open Multiplayer.
   • A new screen will appear for the second player to log in.

Tips

• In order to play online, you and your friends need an Xbox Live account, and each one their own copy of Minecraft.
