Method 1 of 3: Increase the ring volume and notification tone using the volume buttons

1. Locate the volume buttons on iPhone. These two buttons are located on the left side of the iPhone under the "silent" switch. The top button is for volume up, and the bottom button is for volume down.

   Drag the volume of the “Ringer and Alerts” section to the right. This will increase the volume of the ring and notification sounds on the iPhone. advertisement

Method 3 of 3: Increase music volume

1. 

   Swipe from the bottom of the home screen. This will open the Control Center.
   • If you are listening to music, the track information is displayed in the upper right corner of the Control Center section.

   Touch and hold the song information. This will open the full screen view of the control panel.

   Drag the slider to the right. This option is at the bottom of the music playback panel. Music volume will be increased.
   • If this still fails to increase the volume of the music loud enough, you can increase the volume with the equalizer. Please do in the following order:
     • Open the item Settings (Install) on iPhone.
     • Scroll down and tap Music (Music).
     • Click on the EQ in the "Playback" section.
     • Scroll down and select Late Night (Midnight). Selecting this mode will output much louder than the other EQ settings.
