Here is an article that shows you how to download music from YouTube. While most YouTube downloaders have limitations and don't allow you to download copyrighted music, you can still use the 4K Video Downloader app to copy music from any YouTube video or use VLC Media Player to download video and copy the file to MP3 format. If you have a YouTube Music Premium premium account, you can also download music on mobile devices. Note, however, that downloading copyrighted content is illegal and you should only use these methods to download your own music. Downloading music that is not included in the YouTube Premium plan is against the rules and could cause your account to be locked.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Use 4K Video Downloader

   Download and install the 4K Video Downloader installation file. Go to https://www.4kdownload.com/products/product-videodownloader from your computer's web browser and click Get 4K Video Downloader (Download 4K Video Downloader) on the left side of the page. Once the installation file download is complete, you will follow these steps depending on your computer's operating system:
   • On Windows: Double-click the setup file and follow the on-screen installation instructions.
   • On Mac: Double-click the installation file, verify the installation if necessary, drag the 4K Video Downloader app icon into the "Applications" folder, and follow the on-screen instructions.

   Video access. Open YouTube by going to https://www.youtube.com/ from your computer's web browser, and then find or go to the video for which you want to download music.

   Copy the video's address. Highlight the video's URL in the address bar at the top of your browser, then press Ctrl + C (on Windows) Command + C (on Mac) to copy.

   Open 4K Video Downloader. Click the Windows Start menu or the Spotlight search bar on the Mac and type 4k video downloader. Click or double-click the search result 4K Video Downloader. You will see a small window of 4K Video Downloader display on the screen.
   • Skip this step if 4K Video Downloader appears automatically.

   Click Paste Link (Paste the link) in the top-left corner of the window.

   Wait for the video analysis to complete. When you see the video's quality choices show up in the 4K Video Downloader window, you can continue.

   Click the "Download Video" selection box and select Extract Audio (Output sound). It's the menu near the top left corner of the window.

   Change the audio file format (optional). Although the default MP3 format is the most common format, you can still click on the selection box Format (Format) in the upper-right corner of the window to view and select a different audio format.

   Choose quality (optional). The highest quality will be selected by default, but you can change the video file's quality and playback speed by checking the box to the left of one of the options in the window.
   • Choose a lower playback speed if you want the file to be smaller.

    Click Browse (Browse) to select a save folder. Select the folder where you want to save the new audio file on your computer and click Save (Save) or Choose (Choose).

    Click Extract (Export) at the bottom of the window. This is the action to start the process of exporting music from the video. When the conversion is completed, the file will be saved in the selected folder.
    • Double-click the downloaded sound file to play the music using the default audio player.

Method 2 of 2: Use a YouTube Music Premium premium account

1. 

   Subscribe to YouTube Music Premium. If you've paid for the YouTube Music service, you can download music for offline listening using the YouTube app on Android, iPhone, or iPad. Downloaded songs are only visible for listening when you use the YouTube app. You should refer to how to upgrade to Premium as follows:
   • Upgrade to YouTube Music Premium on a Windows or Mac computer
   • Upgrade to YouTube Music Premium on Android
   • Upgrade to YouTube Music Premium on iPhone or iPad

2. 

   Open the YouTube Music app on your mobile device. It's a red rectangular icon with a play button (right-facing triangle) inside.

   Access the song you want to download. If you want to download the playlist, touch the card Thư viện (Gallery) in the lower right corner of the app, then select the playlist you want to download.

   Tap on the download arrow (for the song) or the menu ⁝ (for playlist). If you selected the arrow, the song will be downloaded to your phone or tablet for offline listening. If you choose to load a playlist, take the next step.

   Touch Download (for playlist). Now you can listen to what's in the playlist when you're offline.

Advice

• The 4K Video Downloader program uses algorithms to bypass the download limits on VEVO and other music providers, so you can almost always download YouTube music.
• If 4K Video Downloader can't download certain songs, you should try downloading again within 12 hours of the first try.

• Be careful when using download sites; Some sites often show fake ads and download links.
