This article will show you how to manually download one or more photos from a website to your iPhone or iPad, Android device, or desktop computer.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: On an iPhone or iPad

1. 

   Open a web browser.

   Find an image to download. This is done by swiping or searching for a particular photo.
   • On the Google search website, tap IMAGES (IMAGES) below the search bar to view images related to your search.

   Press and hold a photo to open it.

4. 

   Press Save ImageSave a picture. The image is saved to your device and you can view it in the Photos app.
   • On devices with 3D Touch, like the iPhone 6S and 7, tap the Share icon with the up arrow below the photo, then tap Save Image (Save a picture).
   • Not all images on the Web are available for download.

Method 2 of 3: On Android

   Open a Web browser.

   Find an image to download. This is done by swiping or searching for a particular photo.
   • On the Google search website, tap IMAGES (IMAGES) below the search bar to view images related to your search.

   Touch and hold a photo.

4. 

   Press Download image (Download the image). The image is saved to your device and you can view it in your device's photo app, such as Gallery or Google Photos (Google Photos).
   • Not all images on the Web are available for download.

Method 3 of 3: On Windows or Mac

1. 

   Open a Web browser.

2. 

   Find an image to download. This is done by swiping or searching for a particular photo.
   • On the Google search website, tap Images (Image) below the search bar to view images related to your search.

3. 

   Right-click on the image. This will launch a context menu.
   • On a Mac with no right mouse or touchpad, Control+ tap or tap the trackpad with two fingers.

4. 

   Press Save Image As ... (Save the image as ...
   • Not all images on the Web are available for download.

5. 

   Give the photo a name and choose a location to save it.
