   Find the game file with the .swf extension. Flash games are usually files with the ".swf" extension and can be played in any Flash enabled browser. After the browser window appears a list of URLs responded by File2HD, click Ctrl+F to open the search bar (or ⌘ Cmd+F on a Mac computer). Type.swf into the search box, then press ↵ Enter.

Method 2 of 2: Download from source

1. 

   Access Flash game to download. Go to the homepage and locate the game's website. Click on the game you like and wait for it to finish loading.

   • View Chrome elements: Long press Ctrl+⇧ Shift+C. If you are on a Mac computer, use a key combination ⌘ Cmd+⇧ Shift+C.
   • View the source on Internet Explorer or Safari: Right-click (or press Control+ click for Mac) anywhere in the browser window (except for Flash games) then select "View Source" from the drop-down list.
   • View page information on Firefox. Right click (or click Control+ click for Mac) anywhere in the browser window (except Flash games) then choose "View Page Info" from the drop-down list. Click the “Media” tab to display the relevant URL on the page. If you want to sort this list by file type, click the word "Type" at the top of the list.

   Find the source code of the .swf file. Click the window that appears and click Ctrl+F to search (or ⌘ Cmd+F for Mac), then type .swf. Depending on the home page, your game will be the first or second file that appears in search results.
   • On Firefox, you need to scroll down on the list and find the .swf file with the name of the game.

   Copy the entire URL of the .swf file. Double-click the .swf file URL and copy it by right-clicking (or clicking ControlClick + click for Mac) and select "Copy" from the menu. If you're using Firefox, simply click on the file and select “Save As”.
   • If file.swf has no front domain name but only the directory name containing the game (for example "/strategygames/crimson-room.swf" instead of www.addictinggames.com/strategygames/crimson-room.swf) Enter the domain name into the path (before.swf. file), then copy the URL.

   Save Flash games to your computer. Press Ctrl+S (or ⌘ Cmd+S for Mac) then choose an easy-to-remember file location.
