It's easy to open your inbox and view the content of Yahoo! By logging into the website on your desktop and clicking on "Mail", or by logging in from the mobile app, you can open Yahoo mail.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using mobile apps (iOS and Android) Using the Mobile App (iOS and Android)
Open the "Yahoo Mail" app.
Press Sign In (Log in).
Enter your email address.
Press next (Next).
Enter your password.
Press Sign In (Log in).
Tap an email. That email will be opened.
Click on the attachment. If the email has an attachment, the attachment opens if clicked; You can then download or share the attachment from the top right corner of the screen.
Exit the screen with attachments.
Click on the icon ⋮ horizontal. You will be given a few options:
- Mark as unread (Mark as unread) - Change the opened email back to the unopened state.
- Star this message (Star this message) - Place this email in the "Starred" folder ("Starred").
- Mark as spam (Marked as spam) - Add this email and the sender to the spam folder.
- Print or share (Print or share) - Show options for sharing options like sending your email as a message, printing email, etc.
Close the menu. You can tap anywhere other than the on-screen menu to close the menu.
Click the reverse arrow. From here, you can:
- Press Reply (Reply) to reply to this email.
- Press ⏭ Forward to send an email to a contact.
Close the menu.
Press the "Move To" button. An icon is a folder with an up arrow. From here, you can:
- Email archiving means deleting emails from the inbox but remaining in your account.
- Mark email as spam.
- Create a new folder for the email. Accordingly, the new folder will show up as an option in this menu.
Close the menu.
Click on the box icon. This will archive emails in just one tap.
Click on the trash can icon. This will move email out of your inbox and into the trash.
Press <Inbox (<Inbox).
Press ☰. From here, you can view all the folders in your Yahoo Mail:
- Inbox
- Unread (Unread)
- Starred (Starred)
- Drafts
- Sent
- Archive
- Spam
- Trash (Trash)
- Categorizations ("People", "Social", "Travel", "Shopping", and "Finance")
- Any custom folders you have made
Press Inbox (Inbox). This will return you to the Inbox. You have successfully opened and reviewed the message! advertisement
Method 2 of 2: Use website from desktop
Open the Yahoo website Yahoo website.
Click Sign In (Log in). This message is in the top right corner of the Yahoo page.
Enter your email address.
Press next (Next).
Enter your password.
Press Sign In (Log in).
Press Mail (Letters). You can find this button to the right of the button Log in.
Click an email.
Familiarize yourself with the mail toolbar. These are the options on your opened email. Options (from left to right) include:
- Compose (Compose) - The far left side of the screen; create your own email.
- Reply (Answer) - Arrow turns left.
- Reply to All (Answer all) - Two arrows turn to the left.
- Forward (Forward) - Right rotation arrow; Send this email to a contact.
- Archive (Archive) - Delete this email from the inbox and save it in your account.
- Move (Move) - Prompt drop-down menu with all folders in your Yahoo Mail account.
- Delete (Delete) - Move email to the Trash folder.
- Spam (Spam) - Move email to your spam folder.
- More (Other) - Contains options such as Mark as Unread, Star, Block, and Print.
See an attachment. If the email sender attaches an image or document, it will be at the bottom of the email; You can download it by clicking below icon.
Click Inbox (Inbox). This item is in the top left corner of the message page. Now you know how to open and review messages! advertisement
Advice
- When using the web page from your desktop, you can access the options on the left side of the screen to access folders other than the Inbox.
- On mobile apps, tapping the floating circle button with a pen icon inside opens a new email template.
Warning
- If you're on a shared computer, be sure to sign out of Yahoo after viewing your messages.
