This article will explain how to add a new device to your Apple Developer Portal.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Via iPhone Developer Program Portal
1 Find the 40-digit Device ID (http://www.innerfence.com/howto/find-iphone-unique-device-identifier-udid).
2 Go to the iPhone Dev Center website (http://developer.apple.com/iphone/index.action).
3 Enter the iPhone Developer Program Portal on the right side of the screen.
4 Click on the Devices or iOS Provisioning Portal link.
5 Click on the "Add Device" item on the right (or on the left if you select "iOS Provisioning Portal").
6 Enter the description of the new device and its ID obtained in step # 1.
7 Click on the "Submit" button.
Method 2 of 2: Via Developer Member Center
1 Sign in to your account on the page https://developer.apple.com/.
2 Click on the "Member Center" tab.
3 Go to the "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles" section.
4 Select "Devices" from the left navigation pane.
5 Click on the "+" icon to add a device.
6 Enter the device name as well as the UDID.
7 When finished, at the bottom of the page, click on the "Continue" button.
8 At the bottom of the page, select the Register link to register your new device. Repeat these steps to add up to 100 devices to a standard account.
9 Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer using a USB cable.
10 Start Xcode environment.
11 Within Xcode, choose Windows> Organizer.
12 Specify your device. Click on the "Use" button for further work.
