Method 1 of 2: Manual Screen Capture

1. 

   Hold down the Power key and the Home key simultaneously to take a screenshot of your S3 device. You will hear the camera shutter sound indicating the monitor was successfully captured and saved to your photo gallery. advertisement

Method 2 of 2: Using Motion Features on Android 4.0

   Run your Settings app.

   Tap Motion.

   Scroll down to "Hand Motion".

4. 

   Select "Palm Swipe to Capture", and put a checkmark in the checkbox. Close the menu.

   Place your hand across the edge of the screen and swipe across the screen. You will hear the camera shutter sound indicating the monitor has been successfully captured and saved to your photo gallery.
