Cleaning your mirrors is a household chore that can be very satisfying. However, it can be very difficult to clean mirrors without leaving streaks. Method 1 of 3: Mixing the cleaner

1. Mix equal parts vinegar and water. Put 250 ml of vinegar in a spray bottle and then add 250 ml of water. Close the spray bottle and shake it to mix the perfect cleaner for cleaning mirrors.
2. Do not use commercially available cleaners. There are many glass cleaners for sale, but they often contain large amounts of soap, which can leave streaks on your mirrors. Therefore, it is better to use a mixture of one part vinegar and one part water or another homemade cleaning mixture.

1. Check the mirror for stains. When it comes to a bathroom mirror, you may see a lot of stains from toothpaste, hairspray and other cosmetics. If it is a mirror that hangs in your hallway, a lot of dust and dirt can have collected in certain places. See where all the stains are, as you will need to remove them first to avoid streaks.
2. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe the mirror. You will need a flat woven microfiber cloth to wipe the mirror. Start by folding the cloth into quarters so that you use fewer cloths. When the first part gets dirty, just unfold the microfiber cloth to find a clean part.
   • A terry cloth cloth has too much texture, so that the dirt and dust accumulate in the cloth and streaks appear on the mirror.
   • Do not use paper towels, as they will leave small fluff on your mirror.
   • Newspapers are a traditional option, but shouldn't be used. They leave streaks and can also stain your mirror.

   Use a squeegee to take off the mirror. If you have a squeegee, this is an excellent tool for cleaning your mirrors. After each stroke you make with the trigger, wipe away the drops with a microfiber cloth.

3. Remove any last stains from the mirror. Take a good look at the entire mirror to see if there are any stains left. You may need to move a little to the left or right to get a closer look at the mirror. If you see a streak or stain, apply some more cleaner to your microfiber cloth and quickly wipe the streak or stain away.
