Rice noodles are a type of semi-translucent pasta strands made from rice flour and water. They are usually long and thin, but there are also thicker flat noodles. These noodles cook quickly and can even turn mushy if you cook them for too long, so it's important to know how to prepare them properly.
Ingredients
For 4 to 6 servings
- 225 gr rice noodles
- Water
- Sesame oil (optional)

Method 1 of 4: Soak in warm water
Use noodles in cold dishes. Use cooked rice noodles in dishes that are not further fried or cooked.
- Asian salads, cold bean salads or cold soups are good examples of this.
Tips
- To prepare noodle nests, soak them in 2 liters of boiling water for 8 minutes. Drain in a colander and rinse with cold water. Put them on a plate and use them however you want. If you want, you can add a little sesame oil and let it air dry for 30 minutes before serving. If you want to reheat them, you can heat them in the microwave for a few seconds.
