It's great to get a big discount on a product, but getting it for free is even better. In order for companies to send you products for free, you can participate in surveys, join bonus programs, complain about product quality, or simply ask for free samples.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Complain about product quality

1. 1 Identify the product you want to complain about. For example, you open a can of soup, and some foreign object is floating in it.
2. 2 Find the phone number, address, and email address of the company on the bank. You can find this data on most packages. If nothing else, find the company's website and see the Contact page or customer service details.
3. 3 Contact the company. Tell them what happened. If you have proof of purchase, submit it. Ask them to replace the item or reimburse your expenses by sending free items or a gift card. Be polite but persistent.
4. 4 Wait for free items. Many companies will send you a replacement gift or voucher for a free product. Often they will tell you over the phone what it will be: a gift card, voucher, or a free item.

Method 2 of 4: Join Bonus Programs

1. 1 Find out if your favorite store or company has a bonus program. By joining, you will most likely receive coupons, vouchers for free items, discounts on purchases, or points needed to win some prizes.
