Method 1 of 2: Short curly hair

1. Draw the outline of the head and shoulders.
2. Imagine the kind of hairstyle you want. Decide what kind of curls you want for your drawing and in which direction the curls should fall.
3. Draw the outline of the hair with wavy lines.
4. Add more wavy lines to fill in the outline you created.
5. Erase unnecessary lines from the outline and add more details to the drawing such as the face.
6. Color your drawing.

Method 2 of 2: Long curly hair

1. Draw the outline of the head and shoulders.

3. Draw the outline of the hair with long wavy lines. Make the strands look soft.
