Method 1 of 2: Be mindful

1. Keep good notes about the clues you collect. During Cluedo, you will collect clues that will help you identify the suspect, the weapon and the location of the murder. To keep track of the clues you collect, make good notes and include the initials of the players who have each of the clues you collect. This will bring you closer to the truth and to winning the game.
   • Make sure to check off clues on your detective sheet or write them on your notepad when you collect them.
2. Pay attention to the suggestions other players make. Your opponents are also looking for clues to solve the murder, so it's a good idea to pay attention to their suggestions. Just remember that they can sometimes mislead you, so be careful not to take all of their suggestions as clues.
3. Watch other players when they cross things off their lists. If another player shows them a card, secretly see where the first person puts an X on their paper. If he puts it low on the paper, it's a room. If he puts it on top, it means he has been shown a weapon or person.
   • Get familiar with the layout of the detective sheet so it will be easier for you to see what your opponents are crossing off.
   • Try to turn your skin upside down to confuse other players watching you.
4. Pay attention to which card names are always mentioned. If a card keeps being mentioned and no one seems to have it, it may be in the envelope. Make a note on your detective sheet, but try not to be too conspicuous. Write it down a while after the suspect, weapon, or room has been named.

1. Keep your clues a secret. Never tell anyone you know or suspect it. They will get clues to your suspicion from the questions you ask. For example, if you admit that you almost know who did it and ask for the card for Colonel Mustard on your next turn, people will think you think it is Colonel Mustard and you wanted to check it.
2. Try to dissuade your opponents. Cluedo is about discovering the truth, but it is also a game of deception. To deceive your opponents, pretend you have a suspicion and pretend to suspect a suspect or weapon that you have in your hand.This will make your opponents think about that thing and give you more time to find out the truth.
3. Pay attention to your body language to avoid giving away clues. Your body language can tell you what cards you have or how close you are to winning the game. Try to fool them by using body language that implies you're not doing it right. This helps divert their attention from you.

• It is easier to start looking for the answer in the category where you have the most cards.
