Looking for something fun to prepare for breakfast? Well, a light, yummy three-egg omelette is your answer. You make these as follows.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- Milk
- salt
- Olive oil
- Cheese (for grating)
- Chopped vegetables
To step
- Heat a pan over medium heat.
- Break three eggs into a bowl.
- Add a tablespoon of milk to your egg mixture. Do not add more than a tablespoon of milk or your omelet will burn and become inedible. The milk makes your omelet nice, fluffy and light.
- Sprinkle some salt into the batter. This will add flavor to the omelet.
- Finely chop any vegetables you want and add them to the mixture (optional).
- Stir well with a fork. Make sure to see mountains of bubbles!
- Add some olive oil to the pan. Turn it around so that the entire bottom is greased.
- Add your egg mixture to the pan. If you hear a hissing sound, then you are doing it right.
- Take a wooden spatula and make sure that the edges of the omelet do not stick.
- Push up one edge and, after about one minute, let the excess egg fall under the edge. Release.
- Sprinkle grated cheese on the omelette and sprinkle some salt on top as well.
- Take a larger spatula and turn your omelet over after about a minute and a half, so that it is folded in half. Keep moving the omelet around in the pan so it doesn't burn.
- Remove your omelet from the pan and place it on your plate. Let it cool for about two minutes before eating it.
